Thanks to an email I sent to about 50 magazines I was contacted by Boomer Magazine. It looks like I will be writing a column called Learning Later, Living Greater for the magazine which is published quarterly in early September, December, March and June.
Their web site says, “Boomer Publishing Company was created in February 2006. Two business executives, better known as "friends," had a dream to produce a publication that would cater exclusively to the most exciting and diverse generation of our time - YOU, the boomers! This magazine is different because you are...well...different! You paved the way for thinking outside the box, had the courage to ask the question, "why?," and continue to be the driving force in our society today!”
As of today, Boomer Magazine has published three issues and copies go out to approximately 5,000 subscribers. The publishers plan to expand that base slowly, building advertising revenue at the same time. The magazine is published in Springfield, Missouri but reaches into 25 states with its subscription base.
This is just the demographic I am hoping to reach as my book, Learning Later, Living Greater: The Secret for Making the Most of Your After-50 Years, was written to help them plan for and make room in retirement for lifelong learning, an incredibly valuable tool for enhancing their later years.
I am quite excited to be a new Boomer Magazine contributor and look forward to a long and fruitful association.

Till Next Time…
